I was on vacation this past week and the time just flew!  It was nice to be home, relaxing, but I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary.  It rained one day when we were going to go to the boardwalk.  Nicole, my 18 year old, wasn’t home to do anything yesterday.  My next vacation won’t be until December!

It’s also hard to go away when there is not enough of money.  Nicole lost her father’s death benefits because she graduated from high school.  She is looking for a job – she needs to make up the $623 that we will no longer be receiving!

I updated my resume on Monster and Aflac called me regarding a sales position.  I’m intrigued by this because I was on disability this year after ACL and meniscus surgery and considered buying Aflac.

Hello, everyone!!

This is my first blog post!  I enjoy writing which is why I chose to pursue my BS in Communications.  I am currently working on two school projects – one is a questionnaire for my rescue group to find out who would be interested in volunteering or adopting from us and the other is about starting a mobile spay/neuter clinic in my county (Monmouth County, NJ) to cater to low-income people.  Wish me luck with that!

School has me worn out but I will be graduating in February so just have to hold in there a little longer.  I have a 4.0 GPA and it is stressful trying to maintain it.  I know that getting my BS degree will lead to me making more money which I really need.  I’m sure everyone does.
